Harmony Health MD has adopted a hybrid concierge medicine model which puts the patient’s health, and their care needs, at the forefront. The hallmark of this type of care is the unrestricted time the physician spends during every office visit, which is shown to improve health outcomes. There are designated time slots throughout the day for patients participating in the concierge model. In addition to concierge, we also see patients in the traditional model, which is largely directed by health insurance companies, which is why we have the hybrid designation. By spending more time with patients, it allows the doctor to: provide proactive personalized care, enhance the relationship with each patient, and focus on prevention and wellness in addition to sick care. Our partner in the concierge model is Paragon Private Health, an expert at helping physicians stay independent and manage this model of care. Their involvement ensures that the level of service is maintained and that patients are getting quality care.
